Join Carbmee as a Mid-level or Senior Full-stack Engineer, contributing to their mission of fighting climate change through a cloud solution for carbon footprint analysis and management. Work with a modern tech stack including NestJS, React, TypeScript, RESTful API, PostgreSQL, and AWS, shaping the service-oriented architecture and collaborating in small interdisciplinary teams. Mentor junior engineers and lead a team as a Senior applicant.

Your responsibilities

• Develop reliable and bug-free software using NestJS, React, TypeScript, RESTful API, PostgreSQL, and AWS
• Contribute to shaping the service-oriented architecture
• Collaborate in small distributed interdisciplinary teams
• Learn continuously, staying open-minded
• Assist team members, work closely with leadership, and shape the product roadmap
• For Senior applicants: Mentor junior engineers and lead a team

Qualifications

• Passionate about coding and climate tech
• At least 4 years of professional experience in software development
• Experience with NestJS, React, TypeScript, PostgreSQL, and AWS
• Knowledge of OAuth 2 framework, service-oriented architecture, and messaging systems
• Detail-oriented with strong communication skills
• Fluency in English
• Eagerness to learn and work independently and in teams
• Interest in business sustainability and carbon emissions management
• Excitement to join a diverse international team
• Ability to work remotely or in Berlin/Munich time zone
