KNUTH Werkzeugmaschinen GmbH, a leading international machine tool supplier, is seeking a Senior Data Analyst (m/w/d) to support their tech stack migration projects. You will design and construct a new data warehouse, develop ETL processes, collaborate with stakeholders, implement data pipelines, and monitor system performance. The role requires 5 years of experience, proficiency in SQL, Python, and database management, excellent communication skills, and project management abilities.

Your responsibilities

• Designing and constructing a new data warehouse according to advanced standards
• Developing complex ETL processes for data transformation
• Collaborating with stakeholders to gather data model requirements
• Implementing data pipelines for efficient data flow
• Regularly monitoring and optimizing data systems
• Creating and maintaining architecture & systems documentation
• Defining analytical KPIs and reporting capabilities
• Developing strong opinions about best practices in Analytics Engineering

Qualifications

• Very good German and English language skills
• 5 years of professional experience in Data Engineering
• Proficient in SQL & Python (C# is a plus)
• Database knowledge: MS SQL, Snowflake, MySQL
• Flexibility to travel to Wasbek, Germany occasionally
• Proficient in usage of dbt & GitHub
• Knowledge of ERP & CRM data flows and table structures
• Excellent project management skills paired with business acumen
• Great and proactive communication skills
• Proven track record of supplying analytics solutions
